Pro Cras is a comic about me, which in turn, means it's technically about nothing. But why me? Well. I am quite imaginative and I've always liked creating characters and stories. Unfortunately, I can only draw what I see. So I can't actually illustrate the characters I wish to or the worlds I'd like to create. That means I draw everything from what I see. But this impediment also brings out what I feel is a form of artistic expression that is fairly original. How so?
Well, I end up taking photos of a certain frame or shot I wish to convey, and I upload it to my computer. I then draw what I see on a blank piece of paper. Also, all frames and panels are individual drawings, meaning that I use a whole canvas for each little square you see in the pages. And I also want to make it a point that all of my artwork is drawn with ballpoint pens, so if mistakes are made, there is no going back and I have to run with it. No erasers or white out here.
So why Pro Cras? I guess the reason behind it is... Boredom? Wanting to do something more than just the daily routine. Pro Cras is Latin for "for tomorrow," which is where the word 'procrastinate' comes from. And the inspiration I have for creating this atrocious idea for a webcomic is that I went to New York Comic Con recently and thought that it'd be sweet to one day have my own booth and join in the fun.
Now, a little about me. I'm 19, almost twenty, I like to watch... Just read the comic.
